Explore Kenai offers in-house fish processing for our guests at a flat rate of $2.50 per pound, taking the hassle out of your trip from river to freezer.
Your fish are filleted on the river or right at our river property, then handed directly to our trusted processor—no waiting in long lines at third-party processors. Each catch is weighed, vacuum-sealed, clearly labeled, and frozen, ensuring top quality.
For quality and freshness, processed fish must be picked up within 48 hours of the conclusion of your trip.

Once your fish is processed, you have two convenient options for getting it home.
You may ship your fish box directly to your home, which is the most hands-off option but typically more expensive due to priority-overnight shipping and handling costs. This is a great choice if you prefer not to travel with fish.
The more budget-friendly option is to bring your fish box with you on your return flight as a checked bag. Most airlines allow properly packed, frozen fish boxes, and many anglers choose this method to save on costs. We strongly recommend checking your airline’s specific regulations and fees in advance, as policies vary by carrier and route.
We’re happy to walk you through both options and help you choose what works best for your trip.

If you choose not to use our in-house fish processor, we highly-recommend using Custom Seafoods. Located off the Kenai Spur Highway and just a 6-minute drive from our private-river lot.
