Visitors can also fly from Anchorage into the town of Kenai and grab a rental card from Avis. Airlines currently servicing Anchorage to Kenai is: Grant Aviation and Aleutian Airways.

If you’re planning a fishing vacation in Alaska, you’re going to need a fishing license. Whether you’re halibut fishing, salmon fishing, or any other kind of fishing, licenses are required for all non-Alaskan residents over the age of 16. Getting your license is a very simple process. All you’ll need to do is visit the ADFG’s website and fill out a simple form. After your purchase is completed you’ll be able to either print a physical copy or download a digital PDF copy to keep on your phone. If you choose to use your digital copy, don’t forget to provide an electronic signature.  If you are fishing for King Salmon - you must purchase the extra King Salmon Stamp.

Absolutely! Our experienced guides provide hands-on instruction and support for first-time anglers of all ages, ensuring a fun and safe fishing experience.

Before fishing:

✔️Review current Emergency Orders
✔️Check regulation updates
-Confirm gear & retention rules
-Stay informed on in-season changes

Regulations can change quickly depending on fish counts and run conditions.

Yes! We offer professional fish processing services on-site, including cleaning, filleting, and packaging, so you can take your catch home or have it shipped safely. If you would like to add fish processing to your charter, please let your guide know ahead of time.

Once your fish is processed, you have two convenient options for getting it home.

You may ship your fish box directly to your home, which is the most hands-off option but typically more expensive due to priority-overnight shipping and handling costs. This is a great choice if you prefer not to travel with fish.

The more budget-friendly option is to bring your fish box with you on your return flight as a checked bag. Most airlines allow properly packed, frozen fish boxes, and many anglers choose this method to save on costs. We strongly recommend checking your airline’s specific regulations and fees in advance, as policies vary by carrier and route.
